Job Summary


To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Planner Scheduler located in Guadalajara, North Campus.


Reporting to the Master Scheduler, Planner Scheduler role involves developing and generating production programs, considering the information on quantities of machinery, equipment and materials and timely informing the areas involved to take the corresponding actions.


What a typical day looks like:

  • Leads order processing activities for major customer units.
  • Advises nonexempt associates regarding daytoday priority of customer requests.
  • Serves as advanced interface with customer for escalations of order commitments, order expedites, and problem resolution.
  • Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), leadtime, response time, and inventory goals.
  • Coordinates and manages highvisibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
  • Warehouse coordination for kitting process.
  • Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
  • Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
  • Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.
  • Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
  • Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
  • May also support inventory control, supply chain management, material planning and scheduling.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
  • Intermediate English.
  • Previous experience in materials area.
  • Experience with MS Office.
  • Reception, Analysis, Load and Management of customer demand.
  • Ensure efficiency in scheduling with CTB utilization.
  • Work closely with production personnel on accountabilities and productivity issues.
  • Plan efficient transaction of process with production personnel to ensure zero downtime.
  • Ensure smooth transaction of manufacturing process to raw materials.
  • Develop strategies and liaise with operational teams on capacity & equipment utilization.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure smooth flow from raw material to final goods stage.
  • Use knowledge and experience of process flow to provide a useful resource to Materials on ERP and business system issues
  • Work closely with CFT and Customer in daily basis.
  • Report key metrics as required.
  • Manage CTB and Shortage reports
  • Review metrics to identify risk.
  • Work with purchasing team on options to close GAPS.
  • Analyze ECO to identify impacts.
  • Attend CTB meeting to update reports to end Customer and Top management.
  • Experience in purchasing, planning, control and supply chain areas in electronic manufacturing industry is also a plus.
  • Strong knowledge in materials metrics is also a plus.
  • MRP previous experience is also a plus.
  • Direct customer experience & strong communication skills are also a plus.
  • People management is also a plus.
