About the role:


As an
Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office and ensuring that all aspects of the office run smoothly and efficiently.

Listed below are some activities that an office manager may be in charge of.

As an
Office Manager you will be in charge of the following activities:

  • Budget management: Overseeing the office's budget and ensuring that expenses are kept within budget.
  • Minutekeeping: Making minutes of the team meetings held.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of office transactions, including financial records and personnel files.
  • Scheduling and planning: Scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, and creating and maintaining schedules and calendars.
  • Supply management: Ordering and managing office supplies and equipment, and ensuring that the office has sufficient supplies on hand.
  • Facilitation of communication: Ensuring that communication within the office and with external stakeholders is efficient and effective.
  • Safety management: Ensuring that the office is in compliance with health and safety regulations, and coordinating emergency preparedness plans.
  • Training and development: Coordinating training and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Office maintenance: Overseeing office maintenance and repairs, and coordinating with facilities management as needed.
  • Event coordination: Planning and coordinating office events, such as company parties and staff retreats.
