How you'll contribute:

Manage and supervise the accounting activities of our international subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearend closing processes
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures in line with international accounting standards, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all entities
Assist in developing bestinclass shared services functions, with a focus on automation
Monitor and review financial statements, general ledger, and other financial reports to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions
Collaborate with tax advisors and legal teams to ensure compliance with tax regulations and transfer pricing policies
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for international entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles
Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process for international operations, providing financial insights and analysis
Implement internal controls and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements
Liaise with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process for international subsidiaries
Stay updated on changes in international accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements, ensuring compliance and implementing necessary changes as required
Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations

Who you are:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable
Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on international accounting and consolidation
Proven experience in managing accounting operations for international subsidiaries, including monthend and yearend closings, financial reporting, and audits
Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is preferred
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
Strong understanding of tax regulations and transfer pricing principles
Knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and experience implementing internal controls
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus
