Activities:

Supports test activities within Honeywell trough fabrication, repair, installation and test of parts and prototypes for specialized projects.


Accountably for

  • Utilize his/her knowledge in Machining and assembly to fabricate parts, tools mechanisms and/or test devises for experimental purposes
  • Supports onsite installation of test devises.
  • Work under constantly supervision meeting Honeywell Quality standards and other regulations when applicable.
  • Is responsible of follow all applicable safety regulations affecting his/her safety condition and those applicable to his/her peers and work environment.
  • Under Manager and/or Process Engineer full supervision, maintains proper communication with requesters.

Position requirements:


  • Technical studies in machine tool operation
  • Unfinished or in process college. From 5 to 10 years of experience as machinist, die and matrix fabrication, or tool fabrication.
  • Proven experience in milling machine, lathe and grinding on conventional machines.
  • Basic knowledge on CNC operation and programming.
  • Skills on standards interpretation, drawings reading, engineering specs and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances.
  • Proven experience in use of measurements instruments.
  • Write and verbal communication skills.

Desired skills:


  • TIG/MIG welding, electronics assembly, small parts assembly.
  • Familiar with the use of computer software like Microsoft Office.
  • Basic domain of written English.
