The Role:

The Technology Auditor is responsible for risk-based audit activities across Technology areas within S&P Global Inc. (SPGI).

As a Technology Auditor in SPGI Internal Audit you will work closely with Audit Director, to plan and execute the SPGI Internal Audit Plan.

This role will be based in Mumbai/ Hyderabad, India.

The Team:

SPGI is a global leader in credit ratings, benchmarks and analytics for the global capital and commodity markets.

Reporting directly to the Audit Director, you will be part of the global SPGI Internal Audit team with coverage for all SPGI Technology department.

The S&P Global Internal Audit Team is in multiple regions around the globe.


The Impact:

This role is part of the global audit team focusing on execution of Technology audits globally. This role will provide senior executives a companywide perspective of the state of the internal technology environment.

This role will be primarily accountable for S&P Global annual audit plan execution (planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases) focusing on Applications and Information Security and the associated risks for S&P Global worldwide.


Responsibilities:

Deliver IT Audits with responsibility of ensuring the timely execution.

Interface with key auditees to agree remedial action plans.

Comfortable in engaging with a variety of stakeholders (including IT senior management and security professionals).

Experience in various technologies and auditing Applications and Platforms.


Increment the use of digital next generation auditor capabilities, adoption of agile practices, data analytics and automation where possible, to improve efficiency and quality of Audit execution.


Keeping up to date on Infor and Cyber Security practices, Compliance, Internal Auditing, emerging trends, and successful practices in audits related to Information Security audits.

Solving complex problems using audit expertise and judgment.


Participate in activities related to systems development, new products, and analyze new policies to ensure that control considerations are evaluated in the early stages of these activities.


What We're Looking For:

3+ years of experience in executing and delivering information technology audits.

Knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and other compliance requirements

Experience in financial services industry would be an advantage.

Willingness to dive deep into audits combined with experience in collaborating with a team.

Use of data analytics tools such as Alteryx and Tableau is a plus.

Good technical capabilities combined with a commonsense approach.

Strong work ethic, initiative, teamwork, and flexibility to deliver IA department goals.

Strong written and oral communication, approachable style, and well-developed negotiation and listening skills.

A fast learner who can quickly absorb the nuances and behaviors of S&P Global's Technology architecture.

A Bachelor/master's degree in information technology or Computer Science or related major

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and other relevant certifications is an advantage.


Basic Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related major


Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to information security and cyber security is an added advantage.
