Eaton's VEH NAA North America Auto division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer.


What you'll do:


Responsible of developing and Maintenance of manufacturing processes in compliance with safety, quality, lean manufacturing and customer specific requirements standards.
A. Develops, updates and uses safety, ergonomic, quality and lean manufacturing standards.
B. Develops MSA on time & with correct study information.
C. Revises and updates process documentation (PFMEA, PFD, WI, drawings, etc) BOC aligned to Eaton standard.
D. Responsible of Monitoring and analyzing process performance (OEE, FTQ, Scrap)
F. Cost out projects Execution
G. Cost avoidance projects by industry 4.0 (3D printer, HoloLens sessions)
H. BOM's and ERP Routings updating
I. Lead Process change management using Change process (MCO)
J. Designs and improves assembly tools and process testing.
L. IATF 16944, OSHA, ISO Compliance
M. Supports Plant initiatives (RIE's Cost out, EBS Pull)


Qualifications:


  • Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Engineering degree
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as Manufacturing Engineer
  • Minimum 2 year experience on ultrasonic welder process
  • Experience on automotive manufacturing company as required
  • Problem Solving
  • Lean Tools
  • Automotive Requirements knowledge and core tools knowledge
  • Demonstrated knowledge and training in automation, mistake proofing techniques
  • PM Knowledge
  • AutoCAD and Solid Works knowledge
  • English language at a conversational level required
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and make presentations
  • Knowledge of Computers, assembly practices, tools and fixturing.
  • Engineering Degree
