    Overview


    PIPECARE Group is currently looking for EMAT Data Analyst Level 3 to join our team in Mexico.

    By providing technology and service focused solutions to the oil and gas industry, PIPECARE has been helping customers ensure the integrity of pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. PIPECARE is seeking an experienced EMAT Data Analyst Level 3 to support our growth. The selected candidate will work with project execution teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of in-line inspection results, focusing on custom-tailored reporting solutions to satisfy customer needs. This includes reviewing customer requirement specifications, processing in-line inspection data, analyzing pipeline features and anomalies, applying industry-accepted anomaly assessment criteria, ensuring quality and accuracy of final results, and compiling results into concise, comprehensive reports for customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Checking and approving tool performance during the PTT
    • Checking the data quality of ILI runs
    • EMAT Data Analysis (Valid or expired ASNT LIII or LII Certificate)
    • Checking and implementing dig verification tasks at sites and preparing relevant reports
    • Reviewing the software interface
    • Reviewing software user manuals
    • Preparing/Reviewing DAD quality documentation
    • Ensuring accurate tool sensitivity values are provided to TM in Tool Checklist
    • Preparing a specific Run assessment report
    • Identifying obstructions in the pipeline
    • Producing technically valid Preliminary / Final reports
    • Informing HO-DAD about results and integrating results into reports
    • Ensuring coordinates are synchronized with data
    • Alerting R&D regarding software problems
    • Updating documentation
    • Producing and updating standard quality procedures
    • Alerting the DA Team Leader / DA Manager regarding software problems
    • Executing all other tasks as requested by DA Team Leader or DA Manager and/or Executive Team within the assigned job role

    Qualifications

    • College degree in engineering or related fields
    • Database development and implementation experience
    • Process analysis, requirement / functional specification development experience
    • Quality assurance of databases, reporting experience
    • Experience of working on large, complex and multiple databases
    • Proficient in using analytical tools and instruments, e.g., Excel, Microsoft Access, Minitab and SPSS
    • Strong numerical ability
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Analytical mindset with logical information processing
    • Professional level English

    Job requirements

    • Ability to work for extended periods in a stationary position at computers and workstations
    • Ability to pass vision acuity and color differentiation examinations
    • Business travel may be required for internal training, meetings, site visits, and customer meetings (international travel may be required)
    • Ability to work flexible hours based on business and project needs
    • Ability to work independently or within a team to ensure project success

    Physical and Mental Requirements

    • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
    • Mobility to walk and climb within refinery or plant environments and access elevated platforms
    • Clear speech and hearing or other effective communication capabilities
    • Ability to focus and multitask effectively
    • Safety equipment can be worn as required
    • Personal mobility and reflexes to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations as needed
