Payroll Supervisor - Iztapalapa, México - Nissan
Descripción
Ensure that all process is being executed based on payroll procedures with standards and tools in place and aligned for all accounts.
- Pay employees accurately and on time by overseeing the transfer of information to the payroll provider and ensuring completion of payments.
- Develops procedures and audits to ensure data integrity.
- Analyze attendance data.
- Perform payroll calculations for overtime and differentials associated with multiple shifts.
- Manage leave paid time off and deductions.
- Understand and verify tax calculations.
- Understand and administer garnishment processing.
- Document issues, resolutions and timing for all employee inquiries.
- Communicate status/progress/future action items or recommendations to immediate Manager.
- Working with the finance business partner of payroll to deliver accurate business intelligence and reports.
- Leads payroll activity, ensuring timelines and accuracy of payroll payments, tax experience and business reporting.
- Process payroll activities in accordance with company guidelines, social security, legislations and local taxes requirements.
- Actively reviews, analyzes and leads the key controls to ensure compliance with legal and JSOX, internal and external audits.
- Makes sure the payroll is processed and paid timely and accurately according to stablished payment dates.
- Assure the compliance related to electronic stamping (CFDI'S)
- Managing, recommending and implementing improvements to current processes to ensure ongoing compliance with company policies/procedures and local taxes regulations.
- Managing relationship with external payroll vendors and stakeholders in general.
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related.
- Must have +57 years of experience in Payroll, Accounting or related role.
- Technical payroll, taxes, accounting and internal controls knowledge and experience.
- Have worked in a fast paced, high transaction volume corporate environment.
- Experience with People Soft, Workday, Excel and SAP.
- Excellent system and analytical skills
- Strong working knowledge of proactive and autocorrective monitoring practices
- Strong client support, resulting in a positive employee experience.
- Basic knowledge of general ledger to support accounting inquiries and resolve reconciling items related to payroll.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, often competing.
Language level
- Intermediate English
