Santa Fe, dominated by corporate skyscrapers, is Mexico City's most modern district.

The streets are bustling during working hours and quieter by night, and are home to international restaurants ranging from fast food to upscale.

The area features several college campuses and global chain hotels, as well as the Centro Santa Fe, a sprawling 500-store shopping mall, which is among the largest in Latin America.


The Role:


Crunchyroll is looking for a Senior Director, Business Operations executive to lead the company's current operations and expansion in the Latin American region.

Reporting to the VP, Global Business Operations, this seasoned individual will work with various teams, partners, and third parties to design long-term strategies and create initiatives focused on user enablement, subscriber growth, revenue generation, bringing cross functional teams together on top of overseeing the overall business performance of the region and its markets, including Brazil.

Ever-expanding global efforts fuel Crunchyroll's growth. The Global Business Operations team is responsible for identifying growth and efficiency opportunities for Crunchyroll.

The team works closely with internal and external stakeholders to expand the anime fan experience and Crunchyroll's presence around the globe.

Global Business Operations helps everyone belong by maximizing the value and accessibility of everything Crunchyroll, giving anime and manga fans around the world a place to call home.


About You:


Responsibilities:


  • Help design and drive Crunchyroll's Latin American capabilities and develop a regional center of excellence.
  • Oversee operations in the Latin America region, liaising with USbased HQ and interritory teams.
  • Act as a thought crossfunctional leader driving alignment across internal teams.
  • Develop mid and longrange plans to expand Crunchyroll's presence inregion.
  • Own gotomarket strategies through execution, in collaboration with global and regional leadership, optimizing omnichannel ARPU, LTV and identifying opportunities to integrate Crunchyroll's several lines of businesses.
  • Manage DirecttoConsumer (D2C) Leads in established Latin American territories, including Brazil, and, over time, build teams to expand into new countries.
  • Evaluate and prioritize proposals from global and local partners, judging cost/benefit, strategic and financial alignment & impact.
  • Build business cases, projections, and metrics for new initiatives by market and measure return on investment and effort spent.
  • Guide regional agencies, contractors, and team members in priorities, timing, scope, and performance.
  • Develop measurable KPIs in partnership with HQ and regional cross functional leadership and report on them regularly, managing regional business targets and objectives and owning its key results.

Requirements:


  • Affinity with Crunchyroll's values: Courage, Curiosity, Service, and Kaizen.
  • 15+ years of work and management experience in a global or international organization in the tech, media, or video game spaces.
  • Deep understanding of the Latin American business, media, and pop culture landscapes, as well as its countries, including Brazil, their idiosyncrasies, and how to better leverage each of them as part of a comprehensive regional strategy.
  • Capable of navigating priorities shifts and ambiguities while working in a fastpaced and everchanging environment.
  • Knows how to translate business vision into strategies and tactics.
  • Understands the digital media landscape with experience prospecting, nurturing, and closing complex, multifaceted deals and partnerships.
  • Strengths across financial modeling, pitch decks, and business and strategy plan development.
  • Prior success in managing and working in a distributed team environment with peers and partners in multiple time zones with various cultures and backgrounds.
  • Establish relationships with key business partners and vendors across the Latin America region.
  • Experience driving external partners
