    Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a General Manager Metals located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

    Reporting to the VP, Operations, GM role involves Plans, directs, and controls all manufacturing activities within the company. Coordinates operating activities so that approved products are manufactured on schedule, within quality standards and cost goals.

    Additional duties involve the estimation of manufacturing capacity, production and materials control, warehousing and site facilities, maintenance, industrial engineering, and other manufacturing hold up activities.


    What a typical day looks like:

    The General Manager will be accountable for overseeing and directing the site to ensure business development growth and the attainment of profit and operations goals including the Vision and Mission.

    Functional will include, but not be limited to Engineering, Procurement, Materials Management, Regulatory, Quality, Warehousing and logistics, Business Excellence, cross functional Human Resource and Financial controls.


    Guidance and Strategy:
    Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals. Provide visionary guidance to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing operations.


    Operational Excellence:
    Ensure seamless production processes, meeting high-quality standards and timelines. Implement best practices to optimize efficiency, reduce materials, reduce production costs, and enhance the overall quality of our components.


    Quality and Safety Focus:
    Instill a culture of uncompromising quality in sheet metal fabrication, emphasizing adherence to industry standards and continuous improvement.

    Prioritize and enforce safety protocols to guarantee a secure work environment for all team members involved in sheet metal manufacturing.


    Client Relationship Management:
    Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring client satisfaction. Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for process improvements and new business development.


    Team Management:
    guide, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of professionals. Promote a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.


    Resource Allocation:
    Manage resources effectively to meet production demands. Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial performance.

    The experience we're looking to add to our team:
    +10 years of proven track record in a guidance role within contract manufacturing, with a specific focus on sheet metal fabrication.
    Extensive experience in managing manufacturing operations, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of sheet metal components.
    BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experienceBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
    Deep understanding of IT and data center products and the sheet metal fabrication processes involved.
    Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards related to sheet metal manufacturing.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
