HSE Manager - Ciudad del Carmen, Camp. - Airswift
Descripción
Airswift is looking for an Operational Excellence & HSE Manager to work on a permanent contract in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico, with a leading company in the drilling and production services sector. This professional will lead the implementation of operational excellence and HSE strategies across integrated well services (infrastructure, production, drilling, completion, and workover), ensuring standardization, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and sustainable performance in offshore environments.Design and implement policies, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency and HSE.
Develop and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) for production, drilling, and well interventions.
Standardize procedures and ensure adherence to best practices across project phases.
Supervise non-productive time tracking (NPT/NPTI) and lead incident investigations (ICR) with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Drive quality assurance and personnel competency strategies for offshore activities.
Promote a strong culture of safety and operational discipline across all organizational levels.
Oversee the development of emergency response plans and coordinate monthly/annual HSE drills.
Ensure regulatory compliance with national and international safety and environmental standards.
Provide technical field support and regular offshore presence to monitor compliance with operational excellence and HSE procedures.
Manage dashboards and automation systems for real-time analysis and decision-making.
Lead best practices and lessons learned workshops with internal teams and contractors.
Ensure staff training programs are aligned with operational excellence and HSE goals.
Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership.
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or a related field.
Minimum 20 years in the oil & gas industry.
At least 10 years in leadership roles focused on Operational Excellence and HSE.
Proven offshore field experience and ability to manage both technical and administrative aspects of OE & HSE.
Certifications/Training (preferred):
Lean Six Sigma, HSE Instructor Certifications, Quality Management, Operational Risk.
Strong understanding of well production, artificial lift systems, nodal analysis, and offshore drilling operations.
Familiarity with predictive/preventive maintenance, performance KPIs, and PEMEX regulatory standards.
Software :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with HSE and operational dashboards or automated systems.
Basic English required.
Availability for frequent offshore travel.
