Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administrate specific KPI's documented in the X Matrix / Hoshin Kanri.
  • Manage, Approve, Implement, Deploy ECN's
  • Responsible for administrating productivity projects, capacity, DCP & RCCP
  • Responsible for recruiting, developing, training, and evaluating engineers based on defined goals and objectives.
  • Component evaluation (technical) for part substitution and/or new manufacturer qualification.
  • Extreme focus on product specialist trends related to design or component failures.
  • Generate technical reports as required to relay information to Project Engineering and/or customers.
  • Technical member of the Material Review Board
  • Generate and maintain technical documentation for custom parts as required.
  • Engage in supplier development/qualification and component failure mode analysis.
  • Oversee all Customer Service Department activities.
  • Comply and take care that the personnel under their charge of compliance to each of the points considered within the code of conduct (ethics) of Spellman de México, S.A
  • Comply with the Health, Safety and Environment Policy, following the procedures and work instructions applicable to his/her activities for the participation in the established Objectives and Goals.

Competences:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years of technical experience in switching power supplies.
  • Proven track record in a massive multilevel & multi process manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record of layout & relayout projects
  • Proven track record of site level line balance projects
  • Proven track record of value stream mapping projects
  • Proven track record of turnaround productivity projects
  • Proven track record of team building
  • Proven track record of highperformance team strategies from scratch
  • Ability to communicate on both technical and business levels.
  • High Voltage Power Supply design technical knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a technical team.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong computer/software skills (MS Office, Simulation software, etc.)
