Elite Alliance is actively recruiting for a General Manager in our Mexico division, Destination Club Management, for Aflora, our newly managed property in Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Aflora offers 211 luxury units distributed through magic apartment towers, loft village and Luxury villas spanning three hectares of verdant jungle.


The General Manager is a key strategic position interacting with owners, guests, leading management and team members, to ensure world class owner and guest experience by providing personal, hospitable and knowledgeable services.

This position is responsible for the property's overall operating activities including expense, cost and margin control, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goal management.

The General Manager will provide leadership and support to the Asociación Civil, Developer and provides overall direction, management, and leadership to all departments in the property including owner and guest relations and services, maintenance, housekeeping, security, rental program and local service providers.


The General Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all owners and guests as well as Developer.

The objectives of this position are to ensure sound leadership, accountability, operational efficiency, cost control and profitability.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Promotes a positive, warm, professional, and unique experience.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of community operations, property grounds and history, amenities, onsite venues such as food and beverage and spa, local destinations, events, and activity information.
  • Plan activities and assign responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model.
  • Collaborate with areas outside the property, such as travel agencies, suppliers, plan events or conferences, tour operators, and transportation companies, among others.
  • Establish training and training programs for employees.
  • Ensures that operational performance is maintained in accordance with policies, procedures, and guidelines to reflect the unique philosophy of the community and in accordance with laws, regulations and best practices.
  • Assures that standard operating procedures are created and implemented in a consistent manner and that team members are trained and wellequipped.
  • Assist in the coordination of all community/ Asociación Civil activities for owners and guests.
  • Serve as the liaison between Elite Alliance Hospitality, /Developer, Asociación Civil owners and guest.
  • Ensures that owner and guest satisfaction standards are maintained and exceeded and works with team members to facilitate the creation of exceptional experiences for guests.
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good, safe working condition, inspections are up to date and preventative maintenance programs are in place and being monitored.
  • Coordinate, evaluate and review contract services relevant to the area of responsibility.
  • Works with the management team to build and maintain a culture that speaks to the values of the organization by creating positive, respectful and effective work environments and protecting the privacy of our owners and guests.
  • Effectively acts as a mentor to members of the management team resulting in high potential leaders that can advance and grow in the organization and creates an environment to motivate, teach and encourage teamwork.
  • Foster a culture of support, encouragement, teamwork, innovation, creativity and professionalism while leading by example with effective communication and ongoing team member development and support.
  • Executes and/or establishes long and shortterm strategic operational and financial goals to achieve optimal operational and financial results.
  • Executes cost mitigation and labor productivity strategies. Completes annual operations budgets, quarterly budget reviews, and monthly P+L reviews. Manage expenditures to the approved Asociación Civil Operating Budget and Reserve Budget.
  • Responsible for accounting payables including collecting invoices, coding processing, and recording invoices for payment. Accountable for administration and controls involving the imprest, operating and reserve bank accounts.
  • Works with the corporate accounting staff to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all periodend financial statements and reports and provide controls to ensure the proper handling and accounting for all receipts. Responsible for accounts receivable, adherence to the billing and collection procedures including delinquency, suspension, etc.
  • Works with the marketing and reservation team members to maximize unit yield and revenue through innovative marketing and sales practices and revenue management programs.
  • Proactively protects and enhances the value of all assigned assets through appropriate programs in maintenance, security, housekeeping and through the capital budgeting process.
  • Represents the property in the local Community
