- Prepares and coordinates Supply Chain plans and schedules for new and existing product lines and programs (OE/AM) including PSA product lines. This highly visible position is responsible development of a SIOPIII that strategically aligns Supply Chain resources to effectively execute the planned/forecasted build in a manner that maximizes resource utilization, plant efficiency, and on time delivery and product safety product. Supports and participates in team meetings with Program Management, Engineering, Plant Production Teams and Senior Mgt. Analyzes effects of projects upon internal functional areas and suppliers. Resolves schedule issues and assesses the progress against established plans and commitments. Some of the day to day activities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinates with Corporate Planning to generate SIOPI that is aligned with inventory targets SIOPII, forecasted demand, production capacity SIOPIII, product launch dates, product ramp-ups and ramp-downs.
- Monitors SIOPII Inventory DOS and inventory turns
- Monitors SIOPI against demand for OE and AM market segments.
- Participates in monthly Device SIOP meetings with corporate.
- Participate and coordinates Physical Inventory for the assigned plant
- Monitor and report out past due dollars and units for specific teams.
- Maintain customer delivery performance to meet customer requirements.
- Member of the CR committee, master data governance, control CR roll-ups, request CR's to resolve bill of materials issues.
- Communicates with Management and supervisors to ensure actual production SIOPIII matches considering new product launches/change including identification of product safety.
- Monitors Supply Base to ensure optimal material availability & anticipate shortages
- Tracks and evaluates actual production versus planned, and updates POFR accordingly
- Participates in operations meetings to review plant schedules, build performance, & to develop strategies to reduce production downtime and improve Customer Satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned.
- Communicate and Support PSA activities and procedures with team members
- An advanced level of material planning and production process knowledge is essential
- 3 to 5 years with operations, scheduling, manufacturing, purchasing, or distribution (required)
- Bilingual %. (English/Spanish
- Self-starter, capable of working independently, highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
- Multi-tasking - ability to establish priorities and dedicate resources to critical actions necessary to achieve goals.
- Creative problem solver with the ability to explore multiple solutions to complex problems; conduct unbiased analysis; and contribute ideas in a team atmosphere to resolve issues.
- Can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal. Use resources effectively and efficiently and arranges information in a useful manner
- Long Range planning – experienced in SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process. Complete understanding of planning hierarchy.
- Ability to interface with senior management
- Advanced computer proficiency – Excel, Access, PowerPoint & experience in SQL programming a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering is desirable
- APICS Certification Preferred.
- SAP/APO exposure preferred (2 years)
