The warehouse assistant ensures that the chain of storage, preparation and delivery of goods is respected.

They are present in all phases of sending or receiving products, so they must deal with the many people involved in this process: The purchasing and sales management department, the transport department, warehouse staff, technical operators, etc.

The warehouse assistant at the loading dock, monitors all incoming and outgoing flows of goods.

From his office, he constantly monitors the actual state of stocks and contacts carriers.

Activities to be performed by the warehouse assistant

Management of receipts and shipments
Stock management
Issuance of transport and delivery documents
Warehouse inspection
Inventory creation and monitoring
Permanent search for process optimization
Reporting to the logistics manager.

Requirements:

Mastery of computer management and shipping tools (ERP, integrated management software package, Office parcel)

Being able to withstand the stress of peak activity

Knowledge of international trade standards and warehouse safety standards

English (Intermediate)
