Sentinel Desk Senior Analyst

The opportunity:

The purpose of this role is to ensure that Financial Crime Risk Services anti-money laundering and financial crime screening services are effectively and efficiently executed, assisting in the timely resolution of all service-related issues to ensure that the ongoing delivery of business objectives and service is delivered for our Worldwide customers.

You will also ensure that you maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will provide expert technical support for onboarding services and retuning exercises delivering an excellent customer experience in line with departmental service standards.

This role is available part-time, job-share or full time.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supports the technical onboarding of customers and conducting screening rules tuning, production of tuning documents
  • Supports requests from customers requiring retuning of their system screening rules.
  • Resolves problems escalated from within the Financial Crime Risk Services Help Desk, providing resolution knowledge and feedback to less experienced staff. Initiates escalation as appropriate to management
  • An agile ability to identify, analyse and construct solutions to complex problems arising from both changing stakeholder needs and service requirements
  • Analysing issues postresolution and recommending actions to management both inside the function and across the wider business to prevent recurrence and improve delivery standards
  • Through the resolution of customer issues and the proactive identification of potential issues, this role should support the evolution of the standards of service being offered by the area/function
  • Supports the development of robust and meaningful management information reports that evidences the performance of the endtoend service provision
  • Supports in all Financial Crime Risk Services Transformation activities
  • Assists with the periodic reviews of both Group minimum standard screening rules, local tuning rules and country tuning recertification
  • Support the development, maintenance and evolution of processes and procedures across Financial Crime Risk Services including documentation of all technical processes.
  • Drive efficiency through continuous improvement activities
  • Contribute to the development of a robust training programme for new and existing employees
  • Contribute to the development of standard training manuals for worldwide customers of Financial Crime Risk Services

Your skills and experience:


  • Experience within anti money laundering and sanctions screening systems a distinct advantage
  • Highly skilled in analytical and problem solving
  • Advanced Excel and preferably coding experience for example SQL
  • Model behaviours that demonstrate commitment to corporate values.
