What is the job about?

Establishes a working relationship with customers by communicating via mail, phone, or facetoface by performing the following duties.
Provide customers and sales team with technical assistance and product information.
Review product specifications and provides proper compliance documentation.
Provide custom costing and prepare formal quotations following the delegation and authority procedures.
Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for proposal stage which best reflect suggested design.
Produce estimated dimensions, weights, and electrical information.
Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to create price quote for nonstandard products where list price is not readily available.
Guide nonapproved customers to the appropriate channel partner or DSM.
Assist customers with troubleshooting, advanced product coordination and specialorder handling.
Work collaboratively within a team environment to prepare moderately complex quotation packages, review detailed specifications including technical deviations lists as required, with mínimal assistance, tools may include CRM and MS office software.
Conduct product related technical analysis for internal and external audiences.
Prepare and store on shared server all documentation needed for Project Execution.
Conduct hand over meetings with Project Execution to ensure jobspecific information passes efficiently.
Create and maintain higher level documentation and tools for nonstandard products.
Perform all work in compliance with company policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and direction and identify noncompliance situations for resolution.
Comply with all health and safety initiatives to ensure the Company remains a safe workplace.
Provide technical assistance and training to the inside and outside sales force as well as customers as may be applicable to the Grundfos product range.
May lead special projects as assigned.

What do you need to apply?

Specify system components or direct selection of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
Ability to work with detailed specifications and industry standards.
Ability to manage multiple, divergent priorities, and work independently with a high degree of accuracy to meet customer requirements and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Demonstrated accountability for personal and team performance.
Superior telephone skills and strong written and verbal English language communication skills to receive and give information.
Strong customer service focus, sense of urgency to meet or exceed customer expectations, and achieve daily commitments.
Proficiency in the use of ERP systems, Microsoft Office including MS Excel, SAP and product sizing software.
Working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Catia, etc. and ability to learn new software. May be required to create P&IDs for engineering/design team to generate package system drawings.
Working technical knowledge of equipment in the HVAC, Water Utility, and Industry pump package systems.
