YOUR TASKS

Lead the Development team and coordinate the Mechanical, Electronics, Optical, Simulation and Software domains in Lamps development projects.
Ensure the technical realization of the product development projects achieving legal and customer requirements and timing and cost milestones.
Responsible for the coordination and analysis of the technical requirements of our customers and the development of the system concept with an interdisciplinary team consisting of hardware, software and design.
The evaluation of technical changes and the development and implementation of appropriate solutions.
Bundle the knowhow of the functions represented and represent these functions in the project team and in the direction of the customer.
Define the system breakdown in terms of hardware, software and design and commission their projectspecific development System characteristics.
Analyze correlations and effects and ensure the reliable realization of system properties and release defined component configurations after testing.
Analysis & alignment of legal, safety, customer and HELLA requirements
System Requirements Specification
Leading the DFMEA activities
System Integration Planning
Technical Reviews & Product Release

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

A completed degree Physics or in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering with a reinforcement in the areas of design, lighting technology or electronics and strong analytical thinking.
More than 7 years of experience in the development of electronic, optical or mechanical systems and an expert in at least one of these disciplines.
Capability to lead multi disciplinary and multi location teams, manage budget, resources, define timing plan and prioritize activities to achieve customer and internal milestones.
Capability to handle the customer.
Fluent English as well as a high disposition to travel and mobility.
Selfinitiative, organized and ownership.
