- Global Commodity Buyer functional plastics and resin for different Part families.
- Collaborate in the management of commodity savings (product family) in all Business.
- Units (BUs) to achieve the objectives set in the budget.
- Leading and participating on assigned Part Family Strategy Teams.
- Driving Global Competitive Sourcing (GSC).
- Lead contact and negotiator for several global suppliers.
- Management of continuous supplier improvement (e.g., business review, general quality, etc.).
- Follow-up of suppliers' business plans.
- Management of supplier nominations and decision making with the BU; Confirm supplier ́s capacity, material availability, etc.
- Maintenance of savings / inflation in the Purchasing system (Maps).
- Support operational purchasing tasks (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, etc.)
- Bachelor degree in Engineering / Industrial Engineering or business science with relevant technical background (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience on the job or within the automotive industry in a comparable position is advantageous
- Good experience and knowledge in SAP and MS Office
- Assertiveness and strong communication skills in handling and negotiating with the suppliers as well as interpersonal and cross-cultural expertise
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language as well as Flexibility and high willingness to travel
