    The candidate for this position will play a critical role in optimizing and enhancing our automotive manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and overall operational performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, design innovative solutions, and implement best practices that drive continuous improvement within our production facilities. The candidate should also be able to recommend improvements to maintain or increase the efficiency of production to reduce cost.

  • Responsible for registering, update or eliminate controlled documents from the KAMAX system.
  • Responsible for document control, through the master document list.
  • Develops and implements the Internal audit plan, such as LPA audits, system audits, etc.
  • Follows up to the internal audits compliance.
  • Provide to all Kamax staff the information and training regarding the Quality Management System
  • Main contact to coordinate customer or third-party audits, as well as monitoring the action plan.
  • Responsible to execute the completion of client self-assessments.
  • Responsible for the 6s program, score monitoring and follow-up
  • Promotes "Kaizen" continuous improvement projects in productive and administrative areas.
  • Direct and develop the annual and "VSM" workshop plan based on opportunities and production requirements.
  • Supports increased plant productivity through cost reduction projects.
  • Leads and optimizes the balance of operations in relation to the requirement of direct personnel based on customer demand.
  • Supports and leads problem-solving activities through advanced methodologies such as Six Sigma, Shainin, etc.
  • Leads initiatives for rapid "SMED" model changes.
  • Leads the application of training, motivation, incentive, recognition and effective development policies for human talent, based on the mission and focused on the corporate vision.
  • Ensures that all staff understand and apply the 12 principles to ensure process quality and product quality.
  • Generate and manage your department's budget.
  • Manage the metrics and statistics applicable to QMS and OPEX
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of process changes and identify areas for further improvement.
  • Perfil

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience of 5 years of experience in charge of Quality Management System and OPEX at some automotive company Tier 1 or Tier 2.
  • 3 years leading audits to the Quality Management System by OEMs (GM, Daimler, TESLA, Stellantis and FORD)
  • Knowledge in Customer Portals: GM, Stellantis, Ford, Daimler or Tier1 customers.
  • IATF Lead Auditor and ISO9000 Certification.
  • CORE TOOLS Certification.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct data-driven analysis (e.g., 8D's, A3, Ishikawa, etc.)
  • Knowledge and proven use of (SMED, VSM, POKA YOKE, TPM, SPC, Others).
  • Internal audits management: QMS, product and process audits, LPAs, 5s, others.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • VDA 6.3, 6.4, 6.5 Certification
