We are looking for an experienced Data Management Specialist who would like to join in This is an excellent opportunity to continue to build a great career, by generating experience in a international oil company.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

As a Data Management Specialist, you will be performing the following activities:

Direct report to VP Exploration Mexico.
Alignment with VP for Data Governance, Data Science and Data Hub.
Be part of the global Data and Information Management community and collaborate closely with corporate Data Governance and the relevant Data stewards.
Set up the data management environment for the Exploration organization in Mexico aligned to corporate standards, enabling transparent sharing of data to foster quick decision making, knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Implement and maintain GIS and E&P database systems indepently.
Manage all data compliant with legal regulations and company standards.
Execute the data exchange with authorities, external and intercompany partners.
Continuously optimization of structure, content and access for all users.

REQUIREMENTS:

In addition to having experience in this area, we have the following requirements:
University degree in geoscience, petroleum engineering, data/information management or computer science.
More than 5 years industry experience in data management, ideally with data governance exposure.
Professional in data management, including data modeling, integration, mining and data quality management or information management.
Deep knowldege of industry data management principles and best practices.
Advanced level of english mandatory.
Results orientated, proactive mindset with ability to develop realistic plans and work.
