    The Strategic Sourcing Team develops and implements multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers, and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price, and service.

    Responsibilities

    • Define and implement the strategy and classification for assigned suppliers and commodities.
    • Select suppliers that best fit the defined commodity strategy and relevant product sourcing strategy.
    • Negotiate with suppliers, including solution of contractual issues and providing MOQ and lead-time relevant information.
    • Develop saving plans for assigned suppliers and commodities to reach saving targets.
    • Identify technical possibilities for cost reductions in cooperation with the engineering department.
    • Participate or lead quarterly business reviews with suppliers, including review of financial, quality, and delivery performance targets.
    • Align required capacities with suppliers and ensure compliance with global sourcing process and policies.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in economics, industrial engineering, business administration, or equivalent.
    • 4+ years' experience in procurement as buyer, strategic sourcing analyst, or equivalent position in supply chain.
    • Experience in preparation of negotiations, sourcing experience for relevant commodities.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and continuous improvement attitude.
    • Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task.
    • Fluent English at negotiation level.
