ACTIVITIES:
- Coordinate calls with the Corporate Engineering Group.
- Distribute and coordinate workload to Engineers under his charge.
- Implement and coordinate Kaizen events.
- Design and implementation of Production cells using Lean Manufacturing structure.
- Perform VSM of processes.
- Operations balancing.
- Introduction of new products and costing.
- Validation of changes.
- Elaboration of fixtures including poka yoke.
- Modifies and improves molds.
- Six-Sigma projects using DMAIC and Project charter.
- Performs DOE for molding processes.
- Documents operations in digital work instructions.
- Performs engineering changes to product and tooling drawings.
- Validates BOM changes.
- Performs PFMEA.
- Participates in multidisciplinary teams for Problem Solving tools (8D, A3).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Personnel Management
- Industrial/Mechanical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering
- 3 to 5 years in similar position
- Six Sigma (Black belt certification minimum)
- Experience in Molding
- Knowledge of ISO900
- Auto Cad required
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Advanced English
