This position will sit within the Intel Validation Engineering group under the Power and Performance organization with the purpose of validating the best CPU server product the market might have.

The focus of the team is to validate Data Center, Networking, Workstation and Cloud products delivering world class products to our customers warranting optimal power and performance operations.


Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Power delivery and integrity validation of Intel's next generation high performance CPUs and interconnected interfaces.
  • Validation, characterization and optimization of integrated voltage regulators and power delivery network.
  • Execution of validation plans, debug issues to root cause, enable robust design fixes and provide risk and product health assessment.
  • Developing automation software and tools for validation and data acquisition.
  • Use of lab equipment to measure and characterize.
  • Experience using electronic lab test equipment.
  • Knowledge on computer architecture.

Qualifications:

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related field.
  • 6+ months of experience with design of voltage regulators and power electronics circuits.
  • 6+ months of experience with software development experience. Languages such as C/C++ and python. Object oriented programming.
  • Fluent on English (written/spoken).

Working Model:


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.


In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
