    Overview

    This is a hands-on, full-stack role where you can take responsibility in leading the technology effort - from technical requirements gathering to final successful delivery of the product.

    You will work with a new technology team and have the opportunity to engage with smart and talented people across the Customer Data & Product Engineering teams.

    Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrates master hands-on capability to drive components to delivery from inception to final product.
    • Recommends and contributes to software engineering best practices, including those that have enterprise-wide impact.
    • Performs as an expert in all parts of the software development lifecycle (e.g., coding, testing, development) and coaches other around such practices.
    • Converses in many technologies and learns new technologies quickly.
    • Ability to provide a clear and concise explanation of business strategy, technical concepts, designs or implementation to a non-technical audience.

    Qualifications:

    • Engineer with 5+ years of total relevant work experience engineering technical solutions.
    • Expert with Java, Python, and JavaScript-based technologies.
    • Extensive professional experience with Angular, React, Redux, Node.js, knowledge of popular Java/Python web frameworks, as well as common frameworks for authentication and security.
    • 3+ years in Java Spring Boot and Java backend development experience.
    • Familiarity with messaging frameworks (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Kinesis) as well as relational (MySQL/Postgres) and non-relational (Mongo, Cassandra, ElasticSearch) databases is a plus.
    • Experience with Git and VCS, TDD and BDD frameworks for Java, Python, and JavaScript.
    • Experience with searching technology like Solr or Elastic Search is a plus.
