Responsibilities:


The Opportunity
The position is responsible for delivering engineering execution for productivity strategy Supply Chain Transformation (SCT), safety and quality for the Salty NEW Celaya facilities


Responsible of providing leadership and technical execution on investment for SCT projects across the BU for Salty and ensuring benefits according to CAPEX.

In Budget, time, security and quality.

Responible for the automation for secundary packaging in the implementation of case erector GUACPS,conveyors systems to palletizing, carton sorting systems, Display & Multipacks systems, Tiras, New PDQ ́s & Flow packs,

Work in coordination with projects in the digitalitation area (DVC) in initiatives such as MES, Mistake Proof,Etc.


Your Impact
As a
Project Engineer **(temporal role, 12 months)
your responsibilities would consist of:

Deliver Growth

  • Manage the planning, development and execution of capital programsprojects as support of business units

Create Efficiency

  • Develop the better strategy and perform the required complete project to give the company the infrastructure and best technology to produce big bet products as SCT.
  • Accountable of the process design of the project (Palletizing, warehousing & Automation)
  • Selection of technology.
  • Installation of the equipment.
  • Flawless Startup. It includes multifunctional organization and leadership,
  • Updating status to the organization.
  • Analize the critical route to avoid delays.
  • Support to new arrangement patterns in boxes & displays Innovations (Invest Back investments).
  • Support to new promotions insertion in PMF (Validate technical feasibility & new technological developments.
  • Support and/or following to Global equipment development initiatives
  • Perform the required plans to contribute with the company to achieve the productivity goals
  • Continue with the manufacturing footprint strategy making the line movements according with master plan and Footprint productivity.
  • Implement the new technology on automation for Automation of palletizing & Warehousing for Salty & Foods (PC, TC, Cheetos, Pellet, etc.)
  • Execute the financial targets (e.g. cash flow) of assigned projects on time and schedule revolving production for sales requirements

Drive Future Success

  • Provide ongoing feedback and coaching on progress against accountabilities to peers and lower levels (E)

Qualifications:

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

  • Mechanical, Mechatronic or industrial engineering

Experience

  • More than 3+ year's experience in food processing and Project management
  • Knowledge of Capital Project Management.
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices related to food plant design, equipment fabrication, food safety requirements, construction details and project execution
  • Engineering finance. Ability to analyze financial information as it relates to engineering. Cash flow, net sales and operating profits. Knowledge of cost of goods, depreciation costs, capital costs, taxes.
  • Project plan management. Ability to plan, manage and execute projects against cost, schedule, performance and safety targets
  • Safety/quality/regulations. Knowledge of safety policies, procedures and external regulations for the design, installation and operation of facilities and equipment. Includes knowledge of federal, state and local regulations
  • Supplier/vendor/contractor Management. Ability to manage relationships with suppliers, vendors and contractors to achieve PepsiCo goals
  • Time management. Ability to manage time organizing activities to maximize productivity, keeping selffocused on priorities.
  • Computer skills. Ability to use computer and webbased systems. Applications as autocad, office etc.
  • Planning. The ability to set short term plans based on long term strategies, setting realistic targets in order to ensure sustainable and consistent business performance.
  • Decision making. The ability to know when a decision needs to be made and having the readiness
