TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management.

They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.


What your background should look like:


  • Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly forecast and annual budget at cost center level
  • Assist with management business planning, including presentations and key analysis requests.
  • Lead monthly ConstructioninProgress (CIP) review, Partner with Operation/nonplant in reviewing aged project, delays in projects, and discuss depreciation projection variances
  • Strengthen Capital Expenditure control and monitor implementation of investment.
  • Develop fixed assets management procedure to improve utilization and safeguard asset
  • Develop a depreciation simulation to improve forecasting accuracy for the plants
  • Lead the quarterly spare tooling audit across Empalme and Hermosillo Plants.
  • Evaluate spare parts for excess, obsolescence, and impairment on an annual basis.
  • Lead the Fixed Asset Physical count and follow GAAP/TE Policy for Empalme and Hermosillo Plants.
  • Execute Selfassessment Audit program to conduct financial, operational and compliance audits
  • Identify, and clearly define, audit issues and root causes, recommend improved internal controls and business processes, and ensure that corrective action plans are developed and implemented.
  • Lead and coordinate with concerned BU approvers in setting up of delegation of authority for all levels and expense types based on the criteria stated in the Global DoA policy.
  • Lead the department initiatives to foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement and obtaining TEOA-F star level targets.


  • Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business, MBA or CPA a plus.
  • 5+ years' experience in progressive analyst or accounting positions (i

e:
previous financial analyst role, plant or cost accounting role of a small business, public accounting experience). Lean Mfg. experience a plus.

  • Request to travel between Empalme and Hermosillo, Mexico
  • Highly skilled Excel user with SAP experience required. Access or other date warehouse experience a plus
  • A bright, highly motivated and proactive selfstarter, accustomed to working in a very busy environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to communicate confidently with Business Partners and Senior staff.
  • Proven experience of working to and achieving deadlines.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and influencing skills
  • Crossfunctional mindset must be able to work across borders to deliver end results
  • Strong financial, quantitative and data analysis skills
  • Proactive selfstarter ability to understand and respond to need without closedirect supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization


  • Bilingual

  • Spanish and English as a plus
Position Located in Hermosillo or Empalme

Time to travel: 25-50% (BETWEEN HERMOSILLO AND EMPALME)
