• Develop, lead and teach a rigorous and challenging German course that lasts the two years of the MYP Programme.
• Develop, lead and teach a rigorous and challenging German course for MYP.
• Work collaboratively and reflectively with teachers to support vertical planning.
• Work with the MYP coordinators to administer the IB assessment and local requirements.
• Work with the Junior High School leadership group to monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with Junior High School duties as well as school activities and events.Preferred Skills and Experience
  
• Successful experience teaching in the IB Programme.
• Recent training certificate in IB German (preferably)
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and others
• Ability to plan for differentiated instruction and to have all students in the same cohort
• Ability to collaborate with all staff in our Junior High School in a positive manner
• Proven ability to develop successful academic programs
• Relevant professional development in teaching and learning.
• Proven ability to create learning units.
• Experience working in an IB Diploma school (preferably)
• Classroom management abilityQualifications*
• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• German Proficiency
• Successful experience teaching in the IB Programme.
