IT Business Expert (Local)

As an IT Business Expert, you are the interface between business and IT.

In this role, you should understand the customer and always give them the feeling that their concerns are being taken care of.

In addition to this skill, an IT Business Expert should have a strong understanding of IT and good communication skills, in addition to technical knowledge of the manufacturing plant environment.

Part of the day-to-day work happens on the store floor.

In addition to having a good relationship with the plant, it is especially important that you are also well connected internally within global IT.

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable qualification
IT experience of 610 years/ Plant IT Tools support (software & hardware) for at least 4 years
SAP/ERP experience required
Successfully managed IT projects and successfully worked according to agile methods.
Provide support to MES systems related issues (machine connectivity, Plant connectivity, IoT integrations, ERP system development, etc.)
Provide testing, training and go live support to local plants for MES systems.
Very collaborative and support team collaboration, and have excellent persuasion and influencing skills
Fluent Spanish and good English communication for contact with local and international colleagues required.
Proactive, curious, persistent and selforganized nature as well as willingness to take responsibility

Your Responsibilities

Driving business value through the use of IT: you proactively identify and promote the use of IT solutions, with the aim of supporting and optimizing business processes in the best possible way
Collaborate with plant representatives to identify and define the plant's IT requirements to bring them to fruition
Solid IT experience of implementing, supporting the MES system and ERP configurations in the area of Supply chain, manufacturing processes at the plant.
Foster good relationships with shop floor colleagues and understand routine MES IT system related issues.
Develop the plant's IT architecture and implement the associated IT roadmaps coordinated with the SE IT reference architecture
Define the plant's IT landscape, may need to manage the IT portfolio and develop it further
Responsible for the IT budget and IT processes and will carry out strategic
Plan and manage IT projects
Implement IT security protection concepts

About the team

We support all IT needs of Power Transformers with employees in more than 30 plants worldwide. We are looking for a dedicated, independent employee at an important and large plant location in Queretaro city in Mexico, which produces switchgears and breakers for the whole world. You will work closely with plant colleagues and IT colleagues worldwide. In doing so, you will constantly form new teams for solution finding and cooperation
