This position helps to maintain the Continuous Improvement culture "To ensure everyone in the organization is passionately driven to improve products, processes and services to avoid waste using lean principles, six sigma quality and BBP fundamentals".


Core responsibilities:


  • Support Strategy Deployment event organization and practicalities required.
  • Support to areas assigned on LCI assessment journey to achieve target, includes LCI department.
  • Leading CI projects using DMAIC methodology, Lean tools, and Six Sigma statistical tools, as required.
  • Drive productivity workshops, dialogues and actions to identify CI projects. Define CI tool required as needed.
  • Support the identification of potential manufacturing opportunities to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Support and participate in the implementation of local CI agenda and activities supporting the site business plans.
  • Mentor and support of site directors & managers in implementing CI tools, processes, behaviors and approach.
  • Provide CI training and development of new courses, based on the needs of the site.
  • Train and support manufacturing' Coaches on LCI methodologies and tools on site.
  • Share the best business practices between processes and department

Requirements:


  • Engineering degree and/or engineering field experience/background is required for the role. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified
  • Minimum 2 years experience in plant manufacturing and structural Continuous Improvement and/or OPEX environment
  • Ability to communicate and build rapport with colleagues from and out the team
  • Proven improvements in process and results oriented environment, and improve its performance
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment, workshops facilitator and CI training tools
  • Proven experience, knowledge and utilization of Lean tools
  • Experience in working and influence leadership team to secure mandate and support a continuos improvement culture
  • Moderate project management leadership, you have supported the manufacturing with execution of CI projects and have delivered impact
  • Good interpersonal skills: verbal, written, and presentation
  • Good leadership and management skills
  • 5% travel, max a year, is needed.
  • Experience in automotive industry or similar
  • Ability to initiate and inspire change and innovation, moderate change leadership skills
  • Moderate and proven mentor technique applicable, from shopfloor operators to Sr Managers
  • Ability to lead CI projects in transactional processes
  • Excellent social skills. Ease of becoming a trusted advisor at all interpersonal levels
  • Good as internal/external consultant in an Automotive Company or Shingo Price company would be an advantage
  • Use of digital Business Intelligence and Power BI
