    Data Protection Analyst Team provides BI/DW application support for enforcement of Data and Metadata Inventory standards and regulations, through the verification and coordination of data protection related defect resolution. The Team facilitates data protection requirement education, development & execution of reports, and the administration of metadata tools to support BI/DW enhancement projects and maintenance of existing data protection requirements.

    What will your job look like?

    You will:

  • Provide end user support on technical, procedural and process support for assigned functional areas including but not limited to: user training and support; data protection scans for internal clients enterprise wide, Audit support, on demand report/dashboard creation.
  • Participate in the review and definition of functional areas, processes and procedures regarding requirements, organization and flow of sensitive data, methods, and forms
  • Provide problem resolution; communicate and recommend complex business processes, procedures and diverse information to resolve customer issues
  • Provide systems and programming support to functional areas
  • Provide knowledge transfer and support users
  • Assist in design/modification of business rules for data protection
  • Write and maintain user documentation
  • Write, tune, and execute the DB queries to perform sensitive data scans
  • Create and support web dashboards/reports using Power BI
  • Act as a single point of contact in application environment data protection support for all stakeholders
  • Provide support for website with Data Protection related information, using web development technologies as Power BI etc.

    • All you need is...

    Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computer Science or equivalent

  • 6+ yr experience in SQL. Ability to write read modify and execute moderate complexity SQL queries
  • 4+ yr accessing and analyzing data across the Enterprise, including but not limited to data located on platforms like: Teradata, Vertica, Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop (Hive).
  • Ability to run/produce reports on different platforms
  • Excel. Moderate to advance user
  • Windows based environment
  • SQL Assistant or similar tool knowledge required.

    • Advantage:

  • Hive QL – an advantage
  • Exposure to Cloud Data Storage technologies – an advantage (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, RedShift)
  • Power BI – create reports, using a developing Power BI Dashboard, report automation, report sharing
