Sr. Analyst, Employee Rewards

Department:

The global HR organization is built around 3 pillars and 4 regions (Americas, Asia, Europe and MEA)


The first pillar is the team of HR strategic business partners enabling SABIC transformation by collaborating with & influencing business leaders to develop the corporate strategy, identifying HR solutions with the broader HR function to deliver on the talent priorities.


The second pillar is the team of regionally organized HR operations with the focus on driving operational processes in the employ lifecycle like payroll, on boarding, staffing, training and reporting in line with the business strategy, legal requirements and labor relations.

The third pillar is the global team of People and Organization. This team focus on policies and tools regarding e.g. leadership and people development, organizational effectiveness, C&B, talent solutions and talent acquisition. All these pillars work in close cooperation in the value creation framework, the interlinked HR processes_._


Mission:

Provides operational support for the design and administration of compensation & benefits country (The Netherlands) plans and programs. Collects and researches data to support modification of compensation and benefits programs to meet identified organization objectives and needs.

Supports the implementation of reward policies and practices which enable the business to maximize the value from investment in human resources.

Analyzes and collects data to support recommendations for changes in organizational programs.


Job Purpose & Responsibilities:


  • Provides analytical support to develop, maintain, and evaluate compensation and benefits programs including e.g. CLA's, retirement plans, salary structure.
  • Prepare analysis of employee salary and benefits data required by the company, and provide accurate reports by the requested deadline.
  • Review and prepare C&B policy updates.
  • Analyzes data to facilitate the participation in compensation surveys, matching positions and submitting compensation data and practice information to fulfill survey requirements.
  • Support annual nonexempt salary increase process. Analyzes data to formulate recommendations.
  • Support the Annual Salary Planning & Annual Incentive Plan cycles by assisting in the preparation of the Salary Planning Tool, consult with the HRBP's, HRIS and managers during the process to ensure plans are completed ontime and accurately
  • Support the HR team & the business on compensation and benefit matters, responding to queries in a timely manner.

  • Ability to balance supportive/steering activities at Site and European level including go to for Advice by local manager(s)
  • Ability to work and influence in multicultural, diverse Global Community whilst aligning with local and global policy and legal directives
  • Ability to promote local and global corporate values
  • Strong Entrepreneurial and Business Acumen working cross business and function(s)

Minimum Education/Experience Requirement

  • Minimum +5 years of related experience in compensation analysis and administration
  • Bachelor and/or Master's Degree or Equivalent Technical Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Human Resource Management/Tax Law or related field
  • Proven knowledge w.r.t. Dutch and preferably also international social, fiscal and labour law in relation to employment
  • Knowledge & experience of compensation & benefits
  • Statistical/analytical knowledge
  • Strong IT skills advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages in order to provide detailed data analysis
  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential and privileged information
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Fluency in English and Dutch (both written and oral) any additional European language(s) a bonus
  • Full time role supporting Europe

Desirable:


  • Experience working in cross matrix organization(s) and influencing across multicultural and diverse and functions
  • Proven experience working independently/autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of the entire spectrum of HR programs & processes
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and to adapt to changing requirements in a fast
- paced environment

The Netherlands (Bergen op Zoom or STC-Geleen)


Travel:
Up to 25%
