Indirect Buyer - Monterrey, México - Griffith Foods
Descripción
Summary:
Provide procurement service to all indirect items / service requirements for Monterrey & Atitalaquia facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Research select and purchase quality products and materials.
- Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
- Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
- Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.
- Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
- Negotiate price, logistic terms and commercial conditions for the tail Indirect Spend
- Provide timely solutions to all internal requisitions.
Knowledge and experience:
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) on International Business (Import-Export) or Industrial Engineer
- Three years minimum related experience in purchasing activities
- 70% Bilingual (Spanish/English).
- Inventory Management Knowledge
- Advanced English
