    About the Role

    This position is the executive of Harman's Service Product Lifecycle for NA OEM customers across Connected Car and Car Audio.

    This position is the counterpart to the EU SP&R service team's scope related to stockpile management, service demand tracking and End of Life activities.

    The position will establish and manage the NA service strategy roadmap to ensure customer requirements are implemented during the RFQ, launch and post production product life cycle.

    This position will collaborate with Harman's manufacturing teams at the End of Production to ensure long term service requirements will be met until the end of service product lifecycle.

    At the end of Harman's service obligation, this position will manage and execute the required ramp down activities in order to close service fulfillment requirements.

    This position leads cross functional teams Quality, CAM, Finance, SP&R and operations) to achieve our fiscal responsibility and customer requirement for service fulfillment.

    What You Will Do

    This role manages all aspects Service planning through the product life cycle for NA OEM Automotive customers. Drive continuous improvement through process improvements and project initiatives to successfully manage this responsibility.

    • Establish service strategy plan during program launch to ensure service requirements fulfilled until End of Product life cycle.
    • Ensure service demand history tracking in place in order to support capital equipment planning and long term service strategy planning (i.

    e footprint, supply chain, etc )

    • Support the business teams related to Last Time Buy activities through management of historical service demand during production and when dedicated service cells are in place.
    • Collaborate with CAM and MBU teams to generate business case at the end of production to determine best action plan for long term service fulfillment ( i.

    e stock piling, dedicated service line or remanufacturing. )

    • Manage stockpiling order fulfillment activities that include customer order fulfillment, mgmt. of 3rd party when applicable and monitoring of material shortage prior to end of service requirement.
    • Collaborate with Spare Part & Repair team on service sales activity related to sales planning, booking / reconciling, program expenses (staffing, material, 3rd party labor) and best practices on stockpiling and EOL activities.
    • Manage milestones M11 M13 activities detailed in HARMAN's Business Management System BMS that defined service activities to be completed after the production phase of the product life cycle.
    • Collaborate with CAM teams related to service pricing of units sold after production to ensure margin align with updated business case.
    • Collaborate with CAM team to implement end of service life activities that would include customer last time buy activity or new price model to continue service beyond initial program requirements.

    What You Need

    • Bachelor's degree with a preference for engineering or equivalent (electrical or mechanical)
    • 5+ years of progressively responsible and successful experience in an automotive quality or service role, or a combination of engineering, supply chain or Account Manager roles in an operations environment.
    • 3+ years of experience with automotive electronics, preferably audio and / or infotainment modules.
    • Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
    • Practical experience in management of automotive service and / or remanufacturing activities.
    • Practical experience in data analytics for service demand tracking and predictions..
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required.

    What is Nice to Have

    • Experience in a similar quality or service role at a global Automotive Tier1
    • Knowledge of design and manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies, mechatronics or automotive applications with display based user interfaces.
    • IATF / VDA auditor or equivalent certification.

    • This role is eligible to work remotely full-time with occasional trips into the MX office location required (this could be on 24-hour notice)
