    Job Summary

    This role will start training at our Ecatepec Santa Clara site and relocate to Torreon Coahuila. If interested, relocation must be possible or residence in Torreon Coahuila required.

    Role: QA Engineer

    You will support in developing, implementing and running quality control programs and procedures. This involves translating customer specifications and industry standards into product/process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements. You'll also address day-to-day production quality issues within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with production to plan and execute inbound and production checks.
    • Manage relations with customers or third-party inspectors.
    • Participate in external supplier quality testing and audits.
    • Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events.
    • Monitor product portfolio KPIs and drive effective root cause corrective actions where necessary to address gaps to agreed targets.
    • Manage customer witness inspections.
    • Maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify problems for management and stakeholders on the state of a process or product quality.
    • Create awareness in the Leadership community regarding opportunities discovered or developed and how to realize them.
    • Collaborate with departments to clarify/resolve issues related to QC activities.
    • Offer all documents as per QAP to customers after coordinating with internal departments and closing documentation queries.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Understanding of product/process flow.

    Preferred Experience/Skills:

    • Experience in engineering and utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
    • Experience in quality control department.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
