Safety and Sustainability Manager

Tasks and Responsibilities

Manage process safety actions related to safety reviews, developing process safety concept on site by addressing all Process and Plant Safety (PPS) topics ensuring sustainability and the best performance of the Site.
Manage health and safety activities, according to global directives and local legal requirements in order to guarantee people integrity in accordance with Global Safety KPIs to achieve the best performance.
Take care of the product licenses are in line with Site operation; Manage environmental and hazard information of CropScience activities, according to global directives and local legal requirements in order to guarantee environment protection and dangerous goods compliance.
Ensure and necessary training for both staff and third parties personnel according processes in regard to SSHE standards; coordinate remediation activities of site closing and being interface between local consultants and global functions.
Perform risk assessments, audits and other activities to minimize incidents occurrence and assure the achievement of the global goals, acting in accordance with corporative directions.
Enable Product Supply System (PSS) implementation and other continuous improvement activities in order to improve process efficiency and optimize production costs.
Ensure adequate waste management according to legal requirements and product features; this includes local disposal or expo when required.
Represent Bayer with the municipal and state authorities creating good relationship with them and ensuring compliance with the corresponding legal requirements.

Who are you

University Degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
Concrete Site experience managing HSE issues 5 years
HSE management systems skills (documentation, audits, improvement techniques).
Effective coaching and conflict resolution skills. Ability to lead and direct people with and without solid reporting lines.
Excellent general / technical written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English. Ability to work internationally.
