    Based in Mexico City

    The Regional Commercial Lead (RCL) is responsible for driving strategic, consistent, long-term, profitable growth by achieving sales objectives within designated accounts. The RCL is accountable for managing customer profit and loss statements for all key customers in their designated region(s). The RCL leads the execution of global commercial strategies and initiatives, ensuring the sales team, along with their key functional partners, delivers on regional sales and financial goals. The person is responsible for driving successful marketing, sales and product development activities for all customers in the assigned region(s). The RCL will guide their team in providing creative, sustainable solutions to elevate brands through Avery Dennison innovative tag, label, and information management product offerings.

    Responsibilities

    This role is responsible for growing the company's revenues by achieving sales objectives with regional and strategic accounts in the southwest region. This role requires a deep understanding of local market information to be shared with the Commercial Director and regional team to drive growth in the region.

    Activities may include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Responsible for maintaining profitable growth through management of all elements of customer-level P&L statements
    • Create and implement long-term sales and cost management strategies to develop greater market share and profitability
    • Leading and participating in direct sales with the team, including independently networking and and ongoing relationship management, positioning Avery Dennison's product and solutions offerings
    • Maintaining a leading presence in the territory through existing and prospect engagement and industry events
    • Marry industry knowledge with internal subject matter expertise to best position to win in the market
    • Take a leadership role in both key accounts in the territory alongside inside sales for the full Latin America organization, which includes accounts across Latin America.
    • Partner with Operations & SC to maintain quality, cost, and lead time requirements of customers
    • Lead, inspire, and influence a cross-functional team, and partner closely with their leaders if not managing directly
    • Exceptional collaboration with end-to-end functions including product development and marketing
    • Create short- and long-term commercial strategies to deliver revenue and profitability targets
    • Manage key growth initiatives
    • Develop organizational development plans for the region
    • Lead the regional team to prioritize initiatives and activities to deliver the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
    • Share local market information with the Commercial Director and regional team to drive growth in the region
    • Ensure our cost-to-serve model is generating acceptable levels of profitability, and be responsible for cost-to-serve decisions such as sample spend, resource allocation, and creative spend
    • Collaborate with peers to drive best practices across regions
    • Responsible for people management and development for sales team members in the region; Manage people decisions including hiring, promoting, etc.
    • Build account growth plans specific to new solutions with Innovation & PLM teams
    • Gain support from Operations & Supply Chain teams when a major program is secured and/or when service disruption/quality is getting back to a brand customer
    • Act as a change champion for the customer experience digital transformation
    Requisitos
    • Business management experience in a global, multinational corporation with a strong emphasis on sales and business development;
    • Experience managing profit and loss of a medium-scale, complex business;
    • Ability to successfully lead a cross-functional team to drive action;
    • Capable of successfully leading an agile sprint;
    • Willingness to leverage digital tools to drive the business, passion for digital technology;
    • Ability to identify and champion new business ventures;
    • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred;
    • 5+ years of successful sales or related experience;
    • Industry and product experience preferred;
    • Significant apparel industry and large retailer experience strongly preferred;
    • Demonstrated successful experience in a sales position that involved negotiating complex transactions with upper-level management positions or similar experience;
    • Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies at targeted accounts;
    • Excellent financial skills and business acumen;
    • Ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team;
    • Skilled in conducting market analysis and planning;
    • Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management on complex business issues;
    • Strong product knowledge in point-of-sale, woven, printed fabric, heat transfer, and variable data solutions is beneficial;
