Role Summary:

You will lead a team of accountants in assigned US GAAP accounting, including accruals, account reconciliation, journal entries, consolidation, ad-hoc queries, and adjustments. You'll oversee month-end closings, reconciliations, and audit processes.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting activities in accordance with company policies (US GAAP).
• Maintain SOX compliant processes and controls.
• Supervise and reconcile key accounts, providing proactive support and service to the team.
• Analyze account balances and activities to increase accuracy and take corrective measures.
• Support supplemental disclosure reporting.
• Coordinate regular calls with internal and external auditors to verify procedures and establish measures for excellence.
• Organize and coordinate internal and external audit deliverables to meet requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting, month-end closing processes, and account reconciliations under US-GAAP.
• Collaborate with site controller and finance business partner team to ensure accurate financial statements.
• Manage team workload and ensure month-end deadlines and KPI targets are met.
• Develop an environment that attracts and retains quality talent.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls for site operations.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end processes within the assigned region or sites.
• Maintain a positive relationship with site leadership to ensure high service levels.
• Supervise a team of 6-8 accountants in day-to-day work.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in general accounting in a manufacturing environment supervisor role.
• Advanced English skills.
• US GAAP knowledge required.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong bias for action and ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues.
