Mission:

As an Engineering Manager, your mission is to lead and inspire a team of engineers to design, develop, and innovate cutting-edge automotive and EV technologies.

You'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation by ensuring high-quality products and efficient processes.

Role:

The Engineering Manager oversees technical projects, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and drives engineering excellence.

You'll be responsible for translating strategic goals into actionable plans, fostering innovation, and maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and sustainability.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Build and mentor a talented engineering team.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Set clear goals and expectations for team members.

Project Management:

Plan, execute, and monitor engineering projects.
Ensure timely delivery of milestones and adherence to budgets.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and manufacturing teams.

Technical Expertise:

Provide technical guidance and support to engineers.
Review designs, specifications, and prototypes.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Process Improvement:

Identify process bottlenecks and implement efficiency enhancements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Optimize product development workflows.

Quality Assurance:

Establish quality standards and ensure compliance.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of automotive components.
Address any quality issues promptly.

Risk Management:

Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Anticipate challenges related to EV technology adoption and address them proactively.

Collaboration:

Work closely with crossfunctional teams (R&D, manufacturing, supply chain).
Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Required Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (Master's preferred).
Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Strong understanding of automotive systems, EV components, and safety standards.
Excellent communication, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
Ability to balance technical expertise with strategic thinking.

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (Master's preferred).
Fluent proficiency English Spanish
Certified PMP, preferred.
