The Senior Logistics Coordinator handles transactional work on accounts and works closely with transportation providers and internal support teams.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with TL carriers to confirm pickups, deliveries, address exceptions through ProTrans' TMS.
- Evaluate performance exceptions delays service impacts provide timely accurate distribution required reports daily weekly monthly collaborate accounts receivable ensure timely billing processes lead training new hires serve team leader escalation point logistics coordinator team develop implement customer specific process improvement plans assist maintain up-to-date written work instructions process documentation communicate goals performance highlights areas improvement assigned teams active participation achievement department targets objectives participate interaction international agents promote strengthen good business relationships follow execute internal administrative processes manual forms guidelines perform high quality standards customer service experience solving day-to-day problem develop communication operational processes customers customers suppliers plant warehouse locations meet level agreed SOW serve escalation point address resolve significant customer concerns assist startup implementation new accounts additional business existing Customers all products services offered ProTrans manage CPAR8D process when quality issue occurs assigned customers enter bid requests necessary accommodate plan adjustments plan responsible unplanned requests handled customer
