    Who are we?

    EnglishScore is an exciting EdTech product that is scaling rapidly as it becomes the global test and certificate of general and workplace English, using our AI-driven mobile App to assess and certify English language levels. We are owned by the British Council, the globally-renowned authority in English language teaching and testing.

    Our mobile English test (Android and Apple) is available in over 170 countries. Our growing customer base includes leading education institutions, corporations and government departments. We have over 2.5 million new users each year, and this number will continue to grow.

    What do we need? Momentum and growth in Mexico

    In 2022, we entered into the Mexico market, and since then, we have built a small team that supports our growth and development across the country. Today, our higher education, government and corporate clients work closely with us to test and certify their students, citizens and employees using our innovative mobile app. We want to continue to grow our presence in this market, through:

    • Generating more leads for our sales teams
    • Signing up new clients (educational institutions, employers, government agencies)
    • Supporting our Sales Managers, Account Manager and Country Managers to continuously build relationships to grow our usage with our new prospects and existing clients
    • Creating awareness to help build strong relationships and identify opportunities with government projects and other large-scale English testing projects

    We are now looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive to assist with creating localised marketing content, generating leads and mentoring local SDR(s) as and when the team grows. This is a commercially focused role, your success metric will be the amount of qualified leads generated and the amount of associated revenue generated from closed-won sales.

    What's the role?

    • Work with VP Sales & Marketing, Country Managers and sales teams in Mexico and LATAM to provide marketing and lead generation
    • Coordinate and attend online and offline marketing activities such as webinars, exhibitions and events
    • Generate leads in agreed target markets through research via email, phone and messaging
    • Arrange sales meetings with prospects in agreed target markets
    • Meet the weekly required number targets for lead generation and meetings
    • Attend and participate in sales pitch meetings
    • Hybrid role based in Mexico City

    About You

    • Our ideal candidate is someone with 5-6 years of experience in business development and/or sales and marketing-related activities.
    • Experience working with universities or the higher education industry is preferable.
    • Experience using a CRM tool (for example, HubSpot).

    • You must be very organised.
    • You must be tech-savvy.
    • You are goals-driven and deadline-conscious.
    • You have great verbal and written communication skills in both English (minimum EnglishScore 400).
