The Role
As Birdman's Accounting and Administration Manager, you will oversee and manage all accounting, reporting, fiscal, and administrative functions.

You will ensure compliance with financial regulations, maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, and provide strategic financial guidance to the management team.

Additionally, you will manage the administrative functions, including human resources, payroll, facilities management, and procurement.


Responsibilities

  • Lead Months and yearend processes, including fiscal filings.
  • Manage and oversee the daytoday accounting and administrative operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure controls, compliance and streamline processes.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. According to NIF and IFRS.
  • Prepare and present tax, IVA and IMSS filings.
  • Lead the treasury and payroll functions.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to support strategic decisionmaking
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthend and yearend closing activities
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Oversee the administration functions, including human resources, payroll, facilities management, and procurement
  • Lead and develop a highperforming team, setting clear goals and providing coaching and feedback
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies
  • Monitor and assess financial performance and identify areas of improvement
  • Stay updated with accounting and regulatory changes and ensure compliance

Requirements:


Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent certification.
  • NIF and IFRS certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting as a Manager.
  • Experience in international companies or leading Accounting firms.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices and finance information normatives (IFRS, USGAAP, NIIF).
  • Experience leading de treasury function.
  • Experience leading the payroll function.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and managing master data and accounting configuration.
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing administrative functions is a plus
  • Knowledge of Mexican accounting and tax regulations is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
