Boeing Mexico Service Company is seeking a highly motivated
Senior
Supplier Quality Specialist, reporting to the Supplier Quality Regional Manager, working out of the
Chihuahua, Mexico office. The
Senior
Supplier Quality Specialist will join our Supplier Quality Regional Operations team to drive improvements in Supplier Quality performance, relating to product conformance and Quality Management System compliance, and leading corrective action initiatives as needed in order to obtain these objectives.

Our team members enjoy and meet the challenges of working remotely, with requirements to travel up to 75% of the time to different supplier locations.

Our team members recognize and appreciate the autonomy, trust and judgment granted to them, to ensure the oversight of our suppliers.

Use of a personal vehicle is required for company business; Boeing will reimburse at mileage rate, per applicable company policy.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads audits and assessments of complex supplier's quality systems, processes and products.
Documents and reports audit and assessment results.
Delegates product acceptance responsibility to suppliers.
Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work.
Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
Develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity.
Ensures supplier notifications of quality escapes are processed as required.
Evaluates supplier root cause analysis and proposed corrective action plans (RCCA).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

8+ years of experience in conducting/leading Quality Management Systems (QMS) Audits
5+ years of experience with conducting Quality investigations, Root Cause analysis and implementation and verification of Corrective Actions in production environments
Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
Able to travel up to 75% of the time domestically and internationally as required
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Spanish and English
Must be legally able to work in Mexico

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

Experience with Aerospace industry standards: AS9100, AS9102, AS9138, AS9145, etc.
Proficient in MS Office tool suite and project management software tools
Experience with project leadership leading crossfunctional teams
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in an accredited course of study

Typical Education and Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
