We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Business Continuity Planning

What you'll do:

Business Impact Analysis: Assess risks to business operations. Conduct BIAs for essential business functions to identify acceptable recovery time objectives and resource requirements.
Business Continuity Planning /

Disaster Recovery Planning:

assist Corporate Functions and Business units to create or update existing crisis management, business continuity, or disaster recovery plans.

Testing: assist internal clients to execute testing of BC/DR plans. Report results of testing activities, including descriptions of goals, results, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations. Assist internal clients to establish, maintain, and test call trees to ensure appropriate communication during disaster.
Reporting: Monitor organizational compliance with regulations. Identify and report gaps as needed.

Preferred experience:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Business, Communications, Computer Science, Emergency Management, Information Technology, Risk Management or a related field.
Must have 5+ years of experience in BCP/DRP functions within a large global organization.
Primary skills required:
Experience with Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Risk Management required.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaborate in a team environment.
High level of information technology competency (MS Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc).
Multitasking, sound judgment, and decisionmaking abilities.
Willing to work offhours during a major incident, as needed.
Willing to occasionally work nonstandard hours to accommodate other time zones, as needed.
Other skills preferred:
Strong knowledge on ISO 2300
Experience in Business Continuity and/or IT Disaster Recovery implementation, testing and compliance.
Understanding of Business Continuity and/or IT Disaster Recovery solutions across major computing areas (Network, firewalls, client/server, PC/LAN, telephony).
Experience in Project/Program Leadership and Management
Experience with Emergency Preparedness and Incident Response frameworks
BCP or related certifications are preferred, such as: CBCP, MBCP, MBCI, CISA, ISO, etc.
Experience with Service Now BCM tool is preferred.
Experience in a global organization preferred.
