    Job Description

    • Maintain an expense database and collect cost information.
    • Determine fixed costs such as salaries, rent and insurance.
    • Plan and record variable costs including raw material purchases and operating expenses.
    • Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Prepare budget reports for the company and each department.
    • Analyze and report profit margins to inform business decisions.
    • Develop cost forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
    • Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions to optimize business efficiency.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in a cost accounting or bookkeeping role.
    • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
    • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
    • Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Advanced proficiency in English language.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
