Job Description and Main Responsibilities:
You will be the hands-on leader for MSB teardown and competitive analysis efforts.

Deconstruction analysis of MSB competitor's modules via decapsulation, highmag pictures, X-RAYs, 3DX-RAYs, filter and die measurements, cross sections, SEM, etc.
Create a comparison summary between Skyworks and its competitor's top layer circuit for every die, PCB, SMD, and each function inside the module.
Support US PLM to create cost analysis of our competitors' device.
Support US PLM to present findings to Design Engineering and ask for their feedback regarding architectures, circuit selection, conclusions, and document lessons learned.

- oThe initial teardown/benchmarking report needs to be presented 2 weeks after the release of every new flagship and mass tier phone of interest from Polo, Google, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi.

Supports the creation and maintenance of the new userfriendly MSB teardown database which will show what supplier MSB customers are using and why for each of their new releases.
Supports the Sr Mgr of PLM with the maintenance of cost models for new products developed at MSB.
Update the SMD BOM in Hyperion (Finance Database) for all Polo part numbers every time there is a new delivery (DEV1, 2, EVT, etc)
Audit baseline dies and filter sizes to ensure these matches the current BOMs built in Mexicali.

Qualifications:

- >5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, Product/Test Engineering, Failure Analysis Engineering, or Quality.

BS Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Cybernetics Engineering.
Excel and PPT savvy.
Able to give executive and technical presentations in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Able to create software tools for database management with a userfriendly interface.
Excel scripts and programming.
Familiar with Agile and SAP.
Business or data analysis degree.
