Responsibilities:


  • Support advanced analytical and data mining efforts which could include but not limited to clustering, segmentation, logistic and multivariate regression, decision/CART trees, neural networks, timeseries analysis, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, random forests, and Bayesian analysis
  • The scope of work includes Forecast, Prediction Models, Outlier Reportingand Adhoc analysis
  • Implementation of Supervised and Unsupervised model development techniques
  • Work with LDT Black Belts to help and guide with the creation of models and dashboards for the respective client need.
  • Develop ML models using identified features and packages
  • Manage the design of complex and largescale datasets to be used for statistical modeling and data mining.
  • Work with key stakeholders to generate and test hypothesis
  • Conduct explanatory data analysis and prepare data sources to be analyzed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a specialization in statistics, applied mathematics, economics, finance, computer science or Information systems/science.
  • Facility with one or more quantitative data analysis languages such as R, SciPy, NumPy, SQL, Python
  • Experience with relational database management systems (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, DB2)
  • Experience with contemporary big data technologies (Hadoop, HIVE, PIG, MapReduce)
  • Facility with one or more data analysis methods such as regression, decision trees, experimental designs, support vector machines, machine learning, and text mining
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
