Position Summary - Your Impact:

The Enterprise Analytics Senior Data Engineer / Developer will serve as a data engineering expert across Enterprise Analytics (EA) initiatives currently in flight or being planned at NUSA, by building, streamlining, and enhancing data pipelines to drive profitable growth across the enterprise.

The overall objective is to enable diagnostic evaluation and data-driven decision making in everyday problem solving across the enterprise.

Design data preparation pipelines, conduct evaluation of model performance, and deploy models to support operational decision making across the enterprise.
Acquire deep understanding of business problems and translate them into appropriate data pipelines.
Act as an internal consultant by collaborating with NUSA IT, EA data science and data teams, and business stakeholders to identify and scope opportunities, performing data analysis, and generate selfservice solutions to address needs.
Interpret the results, draw conclusions, and present findings / recommendations to appropriate groups to help identify actionable steps to be taken by crossfunctional and leadership teams.
Work with data scientists and machine learning engineers to define use of the data models and train users on integration.

Primary Responsibilities - What You'll Do:

Test and implement data engineering approaches/methods to derive insights that drive business growth
Incorporate the latest data processing and efficiency improvement techniques into NUSA's solutions and models
Collect, cleanse, and understand complex data sources to enable proper data modeling, cleansing, and integration
Define and develop programming for selfservice decision support solutions that leverage data optimization tactics

Requirements and Minimum Education Level

Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar field. Master's degree strongly preferred

Necessary Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency with one of:
Python, R, Spark/PySpark/SparkR

Experience delivering solutions into an IT-managed production environment (i.e. not non-enterprise / academic experience)

Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc)

Experience visualizing / presenting data to partners
