Direct Buyer_

Reporting to the Materials Manager, Direct Buyer role involves_

- being responsible for responsible_
- to secure supply based on MRP and company strategy for maintaining optimum inventory levels. PPV, expedite and other reasonable commercial efforts to execute MRP._

What a typical day looks like:

_ Reviews requisitions and MRP output._

- _ Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule._
- _ Execution MRP messages. Orders, reschedules, and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output._
- _ Maintains procurement records, documentation, and metrics._
- _ Material delivery in quality expectation._
- _ Invoice resolution for payment approvals._
- _ Expedites delivery of goods to users._
- _ Analyzes inventory levels._
- _ Makes tactical buying decisions. Executes corporate sourcing programs and purchasing high dollar parts._
- _ Follow up with logistics to receive materials in warehouse._
- _ Coordinate with warehouse to solve any receipt problems._

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

_ BA/BS or equivalent work experience._

- _ Fluent English MANDATORY_
- _ Advanced Buyer experience 2 or 3 years of experience is a MUST_
- _ Experience in electronic manufacturing companies_
- _ MRP previous experience._
- _ CPIM and CPM preferred._
- _ Working under pressure is also a plus_
- _ Relationship building and management skills are also a plus_
