Compensation

Position Summary:

You will report to the LATAM Controller on our Finance team.

This is an individual contributor position, with the opportunity for impact by creating efficient processes, solving problems with cross-functional areas, and demonstrating knowledge of Mexico's tax operations.

Progressive experience in accounting and tax operations, internal controls and financial systems is required, as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management and cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will not have direct reports.

Position Responsibilities:

Coordinating the accounting and monthend closing process.
Manage day to day operations of the income tax audits including maintaining effective communication with tax authorities.
Prepare and review tax returns
Determination and calculation of monthly Federal and State Taxes owned and in their capacity of retainer, of the group companies (ISR, VAT, Withholding ISR and VAT; ISH, ISN and withholding ISN).
Manage multiple deadlines with internal personnel and external advisors where necessary.
Assisting with transfer pricing, tax optimization, and direct and indirect tax projects
Communicate changes and/or reforms in tax laws with possible impact on Group companies to the areas involved.
Follow up on tax litigation.

Required Skills & Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Experience: 46 years Tax Compliance & Accounting
This role requires advanced experience in Finance &

Tax Compliance:
strong understanding of local, state, and federal tax regulations

Tax Planning and Strategy: Development of taxefficient structures and strategies.
Crossfunctional Collaboration: strong history of effective collaboration with finance teams
Software implementation: related to CFDI 4.0 and other updates required by authorities
Communication and Leadership: Clear communication of complex tax issues.
Deferred Taxes
SAP Experience in finance modules.
